River Descent – Rafting – White Water Rapids.

This amazing extreme sport where you combine dexterity and the spirit of adventure, is an activity that consists of descending rivers aboard rafts, crossing challenging water currents. Complete fun and relaxation to the maximum by feeling how the water flows, together with the adrenaline. It is more than fun, it is empowerment, control and teamwork.

River rafting allows us to enjoy magnificent scenery along the route and encourage teamwork. The section, known as Antigua, consists of a 21-km course, which takes approximately 4 hours to complete, with class II and III rapids. The Pescados section is one of the best places to practice rafting in Mexico throughout the year. The descent is approximately 3 hours, in an 18-km trip, with class III and IV rapids.

The best rapids in Mexico are in Jalcomulco Veracruz, the region where our Mexico Verde adventure resort has its facilities.

The activity requires a minimum of at least 2 participants to be booked by this means. For additional requirements and questions, please contact our call center.

  • The Fish Section is Classes III and IV and operates all year
  • The Antigua Section is Classes II and III, and operates only from July to October.
  •  The Antigua Section depends on season and river level.
