Veracruz Haciendas Tour.

The Ex Hacienda de El Lencero Museum was a Mexican hacienda, located in the municipality of Emiliano Zapata, which belonged to General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna. It is an ideal place to meet with the past, history and romanticism.

The coffee-making hacienda El Café-Tal Apan is a fascinating tour where you will learn about coffee plantations, as well as an interesting exhibition of pieces from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

Ex Hacienda de La Orduña is a colonial mansion built in the middle of the XVI century, at the time it was an important sugar cane plantation. It is said that Maximilian of Habsburg, on his way from Veracruz to Mexico City in 1864 to assume the throne as Emperor of Mexico, rested at the hacienda, along with his wife Carlota of Belgium. The poet Gabriela Mistral stayed at the hacienda.
